Lavender Event Finish + August Campaign

Hello Everyone! How is the recent Lavender Event coming along? There's less than 24 hrs to wrap everything up and I hope everyone finishes until the end! Luckily, I was able to get finish the quest in time! I woke up every 2 1/2 hours to be able to finish this quest without buying any special items to help. Therefore, finishing this quest is possible...without sleep. xD I'm so tired right now, but I need to figure out how to get all these lavender plants out of my garden by tomorrow!

Here is what it looks like. It's a pretty impressive exterior and I like it a lot. I do wish we could have gotten an interior as well, but I simply believe this event was horribly planned/too hard because we didn't even get the chance to make the other furniture that can be seen in Emily's Garden. I would have much rather made a lavender garden bench than 6 lavender vases. :( There has also been zero mention about what to do with our infinite amounts of lavender potpourri! Anyway, Good Luck you guys!

Hello! How is the Orange Quest coming along? Everyone who is participating has less than 20 hours to wrap everything up! Good Luck! I didn't follow the orange quest as closely as usual because I was participating in the fishing quest on Pigg and the fishing quest is really really time consuming!!!! But the prizes are really worth it. I'm really loving all the aquatic/marine theme items that they have been releasing!

Rock Campaign Update!

Remember the rock campaign!? Well, if you participated in the campaign, your items should be in your Pigg Inventory! I decided to go for the Pigg Life and Pigg Island prizes!

Even when I thought it was impossible to release another tulip quest, Pigg Life did just that. They released a TulipxTeddy bear quest! Cute but daunting. I should finish the bonus tulip quest by tonight...so I will be working on this tulip teddy quest this weekend. It just sucks because I don't have any cotton. T.T

Anyway, here is the translation!

Hey Guys!

Even though I'm trying to get some homework done, I ended up logging into Pigg Life instead -of course-. I mean, who wants to write a 25 page paper on Star Wars!!?? I only have a few pages left...but I'd much rather hang out in my virtual garden and blog. :D

Pigg Life  made a few updates that I'd like to share with you.

The first update concerns Pigg Life players under the age of 15. After April 24th, there will be restrictions imposed on those whose accounts report that the player are 15 or under. These restrictions are listed in this blog entry HERE.

After the 24th quest restrictions:

-Tulip Quest
-Daily Quest
-Construction Quest
-Pigg Monument Quests
     -2nd round Peach Quest
     -2nd round Corn Quest
     -2nd round Chestnut/Walnut Quest
     -2nd round Turnip Quest

After the April 24th maintenance, those quests mentioned above will no longer be available to those who are under 15. Basically, do as much as you can now.

Pigg has since then made a list of what 15 and under players CAN do after the 24th:

-Actions
-Quests (Only the ones that can be cleared in your own garden. E.G. Emily's quests)
-Daily bonus
-Shop
-Pocket
-Inventory
-Closet
-Enter Emily's garden and water her plants
-Camera
-Water your garden (Emily's too)
-Harvest your garden (Emily's too)
-Party in your own garden (table)
-Sewing, cooking

*Your garden will not be changed
*You will still have all of your possessions (life coin, AG, animals, items etc)
*In the future you will able to trade your life tickets and coins from within your garden. PENDING

So, what are your thoughts on this? I personally find it sad.
I really felt bad when I clicked on a player's profile that said "After the 24th, Goodbye." A lot of players are also sad because they made some friends on Pigg life that consist of their daily visitors.
I understand the restrictions are for safety reasons but basically they're telling them to quit because..truthfully...they can't do anything no quests, nothing. That really sucks.

Ten.Ten.'s Japanese lesson: 1.PL

Hello Everyone! This is Ten.Ten. Sensei!

I'm here to teach you some useful Japanese for Pigg and Pigg Life!
This first lesson is the first in a series for Pigg Life.

Have you ever needed to water that one plant for a quest but couldn't find anyone who has it?
Well, now you can just ask! Or you can reply that you have a certain crop that your fellow Pigg Life player can water.

Let's Begin! 始めましょう！

Therefore, if you want to say, "Does anyone have any pumpkins?" You will type, "カボチャがありませんか?"

Now, what is the difference between [ありませんか] and 「ありますか]. Well, The Japanese prefer to ask negative questions.

For example:

Does anyone have any pumpkins? カボチャがありますか？(kabocha ga arimasu ka?)

becomes 

Doesn't anyone have any pumpkins?　カボチャがありませんか？(Kabocha ga arimasen ka?)

Both sentences are correct!

You can also use this sentence when you're just generally asking or when you are asking a specific Pigg  Life player. You don't have to insert any kinds of pronouns (you, anyone etc.). I added in the pronouns because it would sound weird in English without them. :) But the sentence in Japanese is literally, "Pumpkin have?" and "Pumpkin don't have?" Hahaha!

Now, if someone is asking you "kabocha ga arimasuka?", you can answer simply with
Hai/はい, which means yes or arimasu/あります, which means " to have".

Hmmm, what if a Pigg Life player asked you this question directly and you do not have that crop? Well, you can answer with Arimasen/ありません, which is the negative form of "to have", which means "don't have". You can follow up with saying "Sorry", which is gomenasai/ごめんなさい.

Wow, Ameba Pigg has really surprised me! They are offering 1 free spin on a majority of their Gachas! This campaign lasts until March 6!!! So, HURRY! They are doing it for both Pigg PC and Pigg mobile!

I did it for both Pc/Mobile and I got tons of cute and nice items all for FREE! They have a list of free Gachas but try them all as I found that the Marie Chan Disney and Genie Disney Gacha will let you spin for free too. Also, the new beauty and beast gacha allows 1 free spin as well!!

Hey everyone! How did you do with the Cucumber Event? I'm pretty sure that it is still going on so Ganbare! I finished a few days ago! I was really happy because I really did want the water pump.

Yesterday Pigg Life introduced a few new features (Camera, Closet) but now you can also sew your own clothing! I wanted to try it out for myself before I tried to explain it here.

However, before I get to that. There will be no more Cooking Quests. I waited a few days and no new cooking quests came up. So that means the 2 Carbonara  quests are the last for now!

Hello Everyone. How are you? I've been so busy with real life so, I've kind of been neglecting my Pigg Life T.T! How is everyone doing with the challenge? There are only about 2 more days! I want to try to get the Peach lamp but I need to make 2 more roll cakes. I don't think I can make it. Good Luck everyone still working on it.


Anyway, I made it ten.ten.'s cooking week and I am trying to deplete a lot of her ingredients and cook as much as I can. So far I've leveled up twice hahah and have been able to do a couple more quests. Here you go!

Ten.Ten. in Pigg Life!

How did everyone do with the Sunflower event? I hope if you planned to finish, you did! I did not finish the event due to the size of my garden and I refused to mess up my "neighborhood". So I at least obtained the clothes but minus the hat. 


Has anyone expanded their garden? I saw a friend of mines and I think it's pretty nice! So, I decided to expand mine for the sake of this next event, if I need to use it.  I REALLY want those clothing items! They are so cute. 


I managed to finish another normal quest in the mean time and I should have another finished quest for you tomorrow! I'll update this one!

Welcome to the family Aoshi

I was sitting in the Pet farm in Pigg with the intent of spotting and maybe purchasing a panda. Even though pets cost twice as much in Pigg, I really wanted one because fashion and furniture go out of style but my pet wont! 
Even though I had my eyes set on a panda, a little blue and white cutie kept walking by and sitting near me. I couldn't resist her! She is soo cute! Plus she matches the interior so well! 


Her name is Aoishi which is Ao (青blue) and Shi (白white) smooshed together! Her name is similar to Pinpan's; Pin (pink) Pan (panda). Ten.Ten. is really lonely on Pigg, so it'll be nice to have this little one around!


Even though her personality is meek and obedient, she is very friendly! When we went to the park, she was totally hanging out with someone else! >.<

Anyway, come by and give her a pat sometime!!

ten.ten. @ Pigg Matsuri

So, Today was the first showing of Ameba Pigg's yearly firework show. They are showing it for 3 days, each day they will show it 3 times and each show lasts a minute. I decided to go to the first showing with my girls! The show was at 7:00 pm Japan time so...the place was filling up around 6:30pm. We found a room that was semi empty and got some seats and ate shaved ice! 

Around 6:45pm all the rooms were nearly full. Which meant 15,000+ Piggs were watching the first showing! We talked while the fireworks went off and when the show was over we parted ways. I was happy to carry my Octopus lantern! Plus I've been wanting an occasion to wear my sauna outfit I got while fishing a while back! 

 
A few weeks from now, I won't be able to play Pigg/Pico/Pigg life often, so I am happy to end the summer on a good note!

ten.ten. counts her blessings

I just want to share this good bit of news to those readers out there that are going through rough times. About a month ago I stopped writing in my personal blog hosted by Ameblo. I left hundreds of readers behind with the intention of never looking back. I was fed up with real life problems and I also started having problems with my personal Ameblo blog as well. So, I decided the blog was adding un-needed stress and I left. Soon after, I ran into a few of my personal readers on Pico and their encouraging words got me thinking about going back. 

A month or so later I decided I would make a comeback but this time I was going to be in control of my blog and start blogging for myself and no one else. My third day back I did a post that is dedicated to learners of the Japanese language. I did a review on a Japanese learning tool. The company saw my review, liked it and offered me free membership to try out many of their other products. I was so surprised and very very happy and felt more encouragement and motivation to continue blogging.

Then today, I decided to meet up with a few pigg friends and watch the Big Fireworks show on Pigg. We were hanging out, eating, talking and I decided to take a look in one of the shops. I closed out the shop, but not before I noticed something. I opened back up the shop and saw my AG. Why, did I have an extra 2,000AG? I was startled and thought maybe my ex put money in there (yea I got ex problems too xD)...or something fishy was going on. 

After the show, I told them I wanted to find out what this AG was for and gave them my farewell. I checked my account and apparently I won a blog campaign from Ameblo and was awarded 2,000AG! Wow, I've had this AG for over 2 weeks and never even noticed. Sometimes you just get used to being poor. xD

So, Guys, even when nothing seems to be going your way, don't give up. Things might start turning out for the better. It might take a while but try to remember the little blessings and you'll make it through. Don't take for granted what you have okay ^^.

Cannot update Pigg translation blog

To all those here who also follow the Pigg translations journal hosted on Livejournal, I want to let you all know that I cannot access Livejournal at this time and haven't been able to access Livejournal for almost a week!


I think it is the site but I really have no clue. Sometimes I can get to the Livejournal website and usually at that point it won't let me log in.

So, You can now expand your Pigg Life garden! 


First go to your もようがえ tab. Do you see a green button that says 庭をひろげる? If you click that button, it will tell you how many life coins and scrolls you need to expand your garden.

                 
                                                                                                                         To obtain scrolls, you will need to go the market place [おでかけ＋マルシェ]. You will see a man in old style clothing. He sells the scrolls. Each scroll costs 3 life tickets or in the shop 100AG.


Once you have purchased enough scrolls and have enough life coins, you can go back to your もようがえ tab and proceed by pushing the green button and you should be able to expand your garden!

In other news I have mastered my second item! The watermelon Jelly. I learned a while back that the water melon jelly gave you the most cooking points (10) so I cooked up a storm. I was sad to find out yesterday that they have lowered the amount of cooking points you receive to only 5. Anyhow, I am assuming if you cook an item more than 100 times, you will get a master sticker!!
