Mogg x Pigg Life Collab and Campaign

Earlier it was suspected that Mogg and Pigg Life would have a collaboration and it turned out to be true. Pigg Life and Mogg are introducing the [Hello from Pigg Village] Mogg event, which is going on right now in Mogg!

Lavender Event Finish + August Campaign

Hello Everyone! How is the recent Lavender Event coming along? There's less than 24 hrs to wrap everything up and I hope everyone finishes until the end! Luckily, I was able to get finish the quest in time! I woke up every 2 1/2 hours to be able to finish this quest without buying any special items to help. Therefore, finishing this quest is possible...without sleep. xD I'm so tired right now, but I need to figure out how to get all these lavender plants out of my garden by tomorrow!

Here is what it looks like. It's a pretty impressive exterior and I like it a lot. I do wish we could have gotten an interior as well, but I simply believe this event was horribly planned/too hard because we didn't even get the chance to make the other furniture that can be seen in Emily's Garden. I would have much rather made a lavender garden bench than 6 lavender vases. :( There has also been zero mention about what to do with our infinite amounts of lavender potpourri! Anyway, Good Luck you guys!

Lastly, it has been confirmed that the next quest is in collaboration with Disney [Winnie the Pooh] and it will be a honey event. In conjunction with that...Pigg is also running their August Campaign. Here are the details about deadlines and prizes.

Pigg Island is a game within Ameba Pigg where users obtain their own island and through exploration of the jungle and caves, by obtaining and collecting various materials, are able to create various items, such as furniture* to decorate their island. Also, players are able to enjoy Pigg Island by communicating with other users.

Since its launch in February of 2009, Ameba Pigg has served 11.9 million users, making it the largest virtual space service in the nation. To strengthen their domain they will be focusing their development on their PC social games. Pigg Cafe will be their fifth release, scheduled to be released in July 2012; and Pigg World is due to be their sixth release, scheduled to be released in August 2012.

Next Pigg Life Quest? Campaign too!

Pigg has just released their "Rock" theme campaign for June. These campaigns often have you complete certain conditions in various Ameba Games. If you complete all the conditions you'll have a complete outfit.

 For example, completing a certain quest in Pigg Life will give you the hat, and completing a certain quest in Mogg will give you the outer wear.

By announcing the campaign, Pigg has conveniently gave us a hint as to what our next Pigg Life quest might be!

Furniture will not be the only things available to put on the islands,  there are plans to incorporate features such as wild animals that will be able to inhabit the islands as well. There are arrangements to continue to expand functionality and add features to Pigg Island in order for users to enjoy and create their ideal Island.

Since its launch in February of 2009, Ameba Pigg has seen tremendous growth in terms of expanding features and functionality. This has resulted in Ameba Pigg servicing, as of March 2012, 11.9 million users, making it the largest virtual space service in the nation.

Ten.Ten. in Pigg Island!

While Pigg Island is going through  maintenance, I thought I would upload the translated quest I've done so far. I know, I know, I didn't want this to become a burden but the game is so fascinating and since I have the time, I can translate!

This game is far more complicated than Pigg Life, and I feel a little compelled to do a separate post that will explain in depth the jungle, rock hill, characters etc. But..until then, here are the translated quests. I'm not really sure how to categorize them because at one point they overlap and appear simultaneously. Fortunately, each quest has a title that lets you know if you're reading the right translation for the right quest.

For example:

The part selected in red translates to: Main Quest  Jungle Island 6/11. Look for that to know if you are looking at the correct quest.

Should Be Able to Play Now!

Ten.Ten. in Pigg Island!

Yes, you've read the title right! Pigg Island! Actually, I'm not as excited as the exclamations marks seem to allude, but...I'm bored and kinda pissed at Pigg Life -won't be able to finish in time for the limited item- and therefore decided to try Pigg Island out. Of course I'd also translate as much as I can for those who might also want to start playing Pigg Island.

I decided to translate the introduction story because it gives you a little "background" on the theme of the game.

So, King Kuwa leads us quite naturally into our first quest. I got a little confused on the second quest, but you go to Pigg Island's equivalent of the market place 「みんなのバンケット島」 and buy a work table from the first guy with [こうかん] above his head. Then we are introduced to Kiyona! We must go to her island and help out 3 times.

 We are then introduced to Sam who has a shop on the market island. We are instructed to go to him and then buy and plant ginger on our own island. By this time, we are all on our own. The next bunch of quests are all centered around the Jungle Island, which is the first island were we gathered the twigs.

I'll keep playing before I update again. I'm not sure if I want to burden myself with translating more quests...but if there is anyone that wants them, you must let me know...because I'm still  going to mainly focus on Pigg Life quests.

Anyway, this should get you started!
