Room Spotlight: Black Thunders

A few days ago I was introduced to the world of Pigg host/ess clubs. If you are from a country outside of Asia you may not know what a host/ess might be. Please visit this link to the learn more about host/ess clubs. The majority of Pigg players are above the age of 18 so these host/ess events are pretty common. A friend of mine took me on a tour of famous Pigg club establishments. Very early on we learn the owners take their events very serious! 


During events the owner "employs" several piggs to work as host/hostess. The owner usually sits at the door welcoming ever "customer". The establishments are very well decorated and gives off the feeling of a real host/ess club. I took some pictures of event rooms I liked.

 I will warn you however. If you plan to visit these places... especially if it's during an event, make it quick. The reason I say this is because you will have to speak to the owner or workers and it's Japanese only. If you don't speak Japanese prepare to be kicked out...however some places are lax and don't care. I think it's because they need to monitor what you're saying and make sure it's appropriate. So, if you can't speak Japanese, try to go when there is not an event going on. 


The Room spotlight I want to introduce to you today is Club BLACK THUNDERS. This is a pretty famous Pigg host/ess club and even has it's own blog and FAQ. Here is a little bit about BLACK THUNDERS. 


BLACK THUNDERS is a Pigg host and cabaret club that operates (has events) Every Tuesday-Thursday 10:00pm to 12:00am. You can speak to the host/hostess for 15 minutes. Black Thunders operates on a point system and the more points you have the better seating in the club you will get such as the VIP section seating. If you want to be a cast member (worker), you must be 18 years of age, attend the events regularily but no experience necessary. There is also no dress club for BLACK THUNDERS. 


If you visit their blog you can see which host/hostess have the best ranking. You can also see who is really behind your Pigg Host/Hostess!  So please visit CLUB BLACK THUNDERS because the interior is beautiful and there is a second room. Ten.Ten.'s room selection #7

When I came upon this room it immediately brought a smile to my face. It's such a cute little personal beach! I'm sorry though...I can't find his room anymore. I saved his picture as his ID: Ken but...I can't find him in the search. He's Japanese so maybe you will come across him in the Japanese Park. I really want to visit his room again though and you should too!

Ten.Ten.'s room selection: Block Architect Edition Pt. 2

This is part two of my Block Architect showcase! These last 4 rooms are fun and playful with lots to see and climb!

First up we have tEaYjUnG from Thailand! She has 2 lovely rooms filled with playful and cute block structures. The first room is dedicated to her bear family. We have Momma bear cooking, Papa bear giving a diamond to Momma Bear, Son bear eating and Sister bear either dressed as a fairy or that is a fairy bear!

The second room is dedicated to Bees in a room full of flowers. Lucky bees!

Next up is  ♨カリプソ・カフェー♨ from France! She has 3 magnificant rooms but her Play with your food park is her claim to fame. This room has 5 fairies about to joy some delicious food. Aren't they adorable!

Here we have Miss Melissaめりーさ from Japan. She also has 3 lovely rooms but the one that keeps me coming back is the room she dedicated to her lovely panda named Panda-kun. She made a larger than life sized Panda structure and Panda vehicle! I guess Panda-kun and PinPan want me to drive them somewhere???

Lastly we have クローン from England. He dedicated his room to the sick and hurt in Pico. The hospital is capable of life flight and has ambulance service. Thank you for thinking of those accident prone Picos! Don't worry guys this place is open 24 hrs! dh chdhd

Ten.Ten.'s room selection: Block Architect Edition Pt. 1

These Pico Players show their creativity through block structures. Block structures aren't an easy feat. There are a lot of things to consider when creating a block structure. These Pico Players in my opinion created realistic and seemingly impossible block structures earning themselves the title of Block Architect!

First up is Yuna from Japan. Yuna is a very kind and nice player but Yuna first and foremost is THE Block Architect! Yuna actually takes real buildings and turns them into block structures. I was really sad that she decided to close her room on Pico due to copycats but I respect in a way her decision. You can't visit Miss Yuna in Pico but you can look at her pictures on her blog HERE.

Now we have cunico from Japan! Cunico is owner and architect of the Hana Hotel. I think this was one of the first rooms I ever favored! She has 3 lovely cats who greet you as you walk through the door and 4 rooms. 2 of the rooms belong to the Hana Hotel. The Hana hotel is a traditional Japanese hotel it seems. The first room is the check in and dining hall. If we look in the corner there seems to be steps leading up to the rest of the hotel!! ^_^.

This is a very private Japanese house of the water paradise! Isn't a really cool effect as if there really is water? Who wouldn't feel at peace if they stayed her for a night or two!

Last but not least we have MAKOTO☆∬(δ who is also from Japan! She has a lovely Japanese style restaurant! The theme I would suggest is Pink Sakura which adorns the walls and floor. She has 3 levels and she shows her block creativity by creating a very intricate building. The first level I would assume is the general eating area which is filled with many tables.

 

The second floor houses the VIP area for a small party of 2! Also I see a small office for the owner between level and 2 and 1. 

 The 3rd floor is the roof actually and houses a small bench for you and your significant other to enjoy after a romantic dinner ^.^.

Now, I want to introduce a new room selection. I immediately fell in love with these 2 rooms when I saw them. I have no clue if they are made by the same Pico Player but I have a hunch that they are. I love how an 8x8 room was no excuse for space. They just kept building upwards! I love them both and if I had an 8x8 room...I'd definately use these two rooms as templates as how I'd like my room to look! Please click on them for a larger picture.

Ten.Ten.'s room selection #4

I was doing my daily ring backs and sometimes I go so fast the rest of the room doesn't have a chance to load before I'm already onto the next. However, I stopped when I came to ドーナツ♪ (Donut) room. It is nothing spectacular in the way of design but it touched me.

She has dedicated her room to the felines of the Pico World; our lovely cats. I don't see a lot of support for the cats or turtles of Pico Land...*cough* Pandas are over rated *cough* but Donut shows off her love  by filling her room with lot's of delicious milk!

Aww, her Purple cat must be in heaven with all that milk. I have a cat of my own (IRL) so I'll be back to play with her cat and show my support by giving her a ring!

Ten.Ten.'s Room selection #3

I really didn't think I would find my 3rd room selection so quickly! I really needed rings yesterday so I attended a few ring parties. One of the rooms I rung back belonged to a very sweet pico named  P° ☆Cυρ¢αкє☆! When I entered her room it quickly became one of my favorites. I feel like this room can be brought to real life and I certainly would move in. The selling point of this home would be the spiral staircase! I love it and had ten.ten. run up and down it many times :D. Very pretty colors and furniture that compliments each other. P° ☆Cυρ¢αкє☆ says it is under construction. I'll be back to see what comes next!








When I first upgraded my room I was so excited. However as time went on I wanted to downgrade it. I wish we had the freedom to go between sizes once we upgrade to the 16x16. *sigh* I miss that cozy feeling of the 8x8 room. I guess that means I'll be expanding to another room soon :).

Ten.Ten.'s Room selection #2

Yesterday I was doing ring backs and I came across a true Pico military camp! It's military camp OR a Military themed dance club hence the wallpaper :P. 


 I myself didn't buy into the whole military theme when Pico announced the squad camp. The teddy bear in the Gacha is cute but I wouldn't spend 50AG on anything else. Coming from a family where my dad was a marine and him pushing his children to the join the army...I couldn't get away from that lifestyle fast enough xD. So I ended up browsing but not buying. :(

I like the way this Pico kept the room all Military and I especially like the foliage and rocks! Too bad ten.ten. and Pinpan would get shot on sight if the camp were to be infiltrated xD. We are the opposite of being camouflaged xD so I got out of there quick!


 If Pico were to go to war who would they go to war with? IMVU? Second life? hahaha

Ten.Ten.'s Room Selection #1

I find that most rooms on Pico are used to display a Pico owners wealth, personality or just a random placement of items therefore I'm absolutely taken aback when I see a room that displays something that one might find in real life.

A couple months ago my BF took me on a grand tour of Pigg...warping from Pigg room to Pigg room. We spent a few hours touring the rooms and the difference in Pico players and Pigg players became pretty evident. For one Pigg is mainly frequented by adults with money and with a lot of free time. Two a lot of house wives play Pigg and spend a lot of money decorating their rooms. Some of the rooms easily cost well over 200USD to decorate! During that tour Pigg felt like a mini city. I entered an elaborate garden, a forest with a river running through it and even a church! I visited hotels and bars and my favorite　being a rotation sushi bar complete with vip rooms. If you take your time and really look around Pigg is its own mini city with many of the bigger rooms serving a purpose that is usually reserved for real life.

Anyways yesterday I began to return rings and I walked into a room that took me aback! It had been a long time since I've seen a room that didn't display everything in their inventory or a clash of themes. So I had to take a photo. All her rooms are very organized so it was a nice surprise! I wanted to hang out in there for a while.
