Cyber Agent, Inc. (Main Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo President & CEO: Fujita Susumu, Tokyo Exchange Mothers: Security Code 4751)who manages the service Ameba Pigg, announces that their fourth social game [Pigg Island], released on May 22, 2012 has surpassed one million players as of May 27th.
Pigg Island is a game within Ameba Pigg where users obtain their own island and through exploration of the jungle and caves, by obtaining and collecting various materials, are able to create various items, such as furniture* to decorate their island. Also, players are able to enjoy Pigg Island by communicating with other users.
Since its launch in February of 2009, Ameba Pigg has served 11.9 million users, making it the largest virtual space service in the nation. To strengthen their domain they will be focusing their development on their PC social games. Pigg Cafe will be their fifth release, scheduled to be released in July 2012; and Pigg World is due to be their sixth release, scheduled to be released in August 2012.
Ameba Pigg plans to take advantage of their strongest point, PC social networking games, and develop them further in hopes of expanding and gaining more users.

Personally, I wish they would focus a bit more on the games they have "Pigg Life", but I'm excited for Pigg World. I'm not much of a Cafe game person. Actually, I thought they already released Pigg Cafe...?
I'm excited but I'd like them to slow down a bit really xD So many games in such a short time. It's a little too much. But I'm most excited to play Pigg world, it looks cool. Don't they have a cafe game in Pico? hopefully Pigg cafe will be better than Pico's world chef (or whatever it was calld xD). cuz I really didn't enjoy it there.

@Yoshi: I agree! It does seem like a little much. Ahh, that is what it was called, "World Chef"! Yes, I hope it is better than that too.
