Ten.Ten. in Pigg Life!

Hello Everyone, as you may or may not know, May 31st/17th (Beta release)  is Pigg Life's first Anniversary. As for myself, I started playing immediately after its release 22nd. I remember the time before events and how I just worked diligently towards the garden, shop, and cooking quests; excitedly awaiting to unlock the next flower, or the next dish. Everything was new, fresh, and had a sense of what the Japanese call マイペース.

マイペース means "My Pace". That is how I figured I would play Pigg Life. There were no time limits or difficult quotas to meet. Everyone could enjoy the game and level up at their own pace. However, since the introduction of Events, everyone seems to be rushing towards completion, there seems to be an air of isolation among the players on Pigg Life.

No longer do we decorate our gardens with lavish tile designs because it takes up valuable garden space.Instead of exchanging greetings with visitors, we simply bow, wave, and get going because watering the gardens of others has just become another duty, another way to support your garden so you can complete the event faster. Hang out in the market areas? Talk to other players? Why? I got harvesting, cooking, and planting to do :P.

I personally wish they would make the events a little longer or put a break in between them. The game has already become pretty one dimensional. There is really nothing to it except completing quest after quest and a few new features that do what? Support future quests.

Therefore...hopefully they continue to find ways to improve the Pigg Life experience. I'm happily awaiting their 1st year anniversary. However, I hope they don't celebrate by giving us an onslaught of quests.

I've noticed that ever since the Halloween Quest or the implementation of the limited item quests, they have been getting harder and harder. It's a little discouraging as well to give as much time as you can to the game only to not make the limited quest.

There is also growing dissent among Japanese players concerning the redundancy of the game lately - not to mention the under 15 ban-. So, we'll see what Pigg Life has in store for us, right!? Hopefully, I will be pleasantly surprised, and my love for Pigg Life will have the chance to ignite once more.

ピグライフ、これからもよろしくお願いします。
