Wow! I want to start off by saying Congratulations to all the Prom photo contests winners! Very entertaining pictures I must say! Maybe I'll enter the next contest. ^_^.
Today Pico released the flower items of the month. The flower for June is the water lily! I'm more familiar with the term lotus as many of you might be as well. Water lilies are a family of plants that live in freshwater. These plants are planted in soil but the actual flower floats above the water. I myself would love to own a water lily but you really need to have a pond and you do have to put some work into keeping them alive.
The water lily is July's birth month plant and often symbolizes life, new beginnings and the possibility of people growing to change into something beautiful.
