Ten.Ten. the AFK queen

I never knew what AFK stood for or that it even existed until I started playing Pico and hanging out in the Parks. For those who may not know what the abbreviation AFK stands for it stands for Away From Keyboard. Meaning you may literally be away from your computer. So how could I be the queen of something I had no knowledge about? I often come back to Pico from messages saying "Are you AFK?" or "Oh, She must be AFK.". Well, Yes, Sometimes I am AFK but usually I'm just on another web page.

Whenever I sign onto Pico I'm usually doing something else. I plop Ten.Ten. down in a park and work on brainstorming for my next column, blogging here, or doing some research there. Many ask "Why don't you just sign off?". I don't sign off because I have the attention span of a gnat. I might sign on Pico watch the park for a few minutes, research something and get bored with that and come back to Pico. I wouldn't want to keep signing in and out every 5 minutes and my buddies wouldn't want that either.

Another thing I have noticed is Picos using a script or automated clicker to keep their Pico in the park and seemingly interactive but ultimately this Pico will probably be away for a long time! It's very cool of course but it's also misleading as I've seen plenty of other Picos trying to chat with this AFK Pico. Very embarrassing I must say.

I'm sorry to anyone who has tried to talk to me while I was AFK. So to be more courteous I thought of ways to let Picos know I'll be away for a short moment.

1. Replace you profile or append your profile with an AFK message
2. Put your Pico to sleep using /zzz
3. Face your pico away from the screen.

These are just some of the ways you can be a less annoying AFK Queen or King!
